Everyone knows the famous Pat's Rubber Legs stonefly pattern, it's one of the most reliable stonefly imitations out there. But because this pattern tends to catch a lot of big fish, I prefer to tie this pattern on a short shank hook and extend the body off the back of the hook, rather than tying on a larger hook that would give big fish additional leverage to pop the hook. Tied with a 3.8mm tungsten bead.
